The Appalachian Trail Conservancy publishes the definitive guides to the entire Appalachian Trail, covering more than 2,100 miles in 11 guidebooks. All guides include detailed trail descriptions and information on road crossings, shelters, water sources, points of interest, and general advice on the region. Each guide also includes separate water-resistant maps for the specific region covered.
The Pennsylvania guide covers 229 miles from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area to the town of Pen Mar on the Maryland border. The set includes five multicolored topographic maps.
