- Helium Deck: The deck of the all-new Helium series provides the foundation making these the lightest composite snowshoes available. The unique louver sheds snow to keep them lightweight, while also creating traction.
- Helium BC Crampon: Designed and tested to meet the standards of alpine adventurers, the BC is the lightest crampon in the Helium series. Crafted from tempered steel, this crampon’s tangs provide the bite needed in variable snow conditions. The BC Crampon also maintains a low profile to complement the PackFlat™ Binding.
- PackFlat™ Binding: Designed for backcountry snowboarding and climbing, the new PackFlat™ binding features quick-lashing urethane straps that are fully field-replaceable with the included BC Utility Strap. Able to accommodate bigger snowboard boots, the bindings collapse flat for easy storage in your pack.

Great snowshoe for the weight conscious hiker

I used these through the San Juan Mountains in Colorado during my CDT hike. They are super light so not a pain to have on my pack and the uphill traction felt secure on sketchy terrain. Even steep traverses around bowls they preformed great. The BC binding is insanely easy to get in and out of and very secure. The only thing these lack is downhill traction, its not like full blown skiing but you may just want to make sure your feet are set going down.
