Patagonia Donates to the GMC!

The results from Patagonia Advocate Weeks are in! Patagonia worked with retailers to in the area and ran a two week long promotion that ran from the October 1st – 14th. The promotion was simple, for every pair of Patagonia Footwear sold by retailers Patagonia would donate $10 to the Green Mountain Club.

During the course of the promotion OGE was able to sell 44 pairs of Patagonia footwear, resulting in a donation of $440 on Patagonia’s behalf! Congratulations to the Green Mountain Club as the recipients of this donation!

The GMC is primarily responsible for maintaining the Long Trail and various shelters that span the 270+ mile long trail. Additionally, GMC’s advocacy and education efforts also protect and maintain Vermont’s many other hiking trails.

The money donated by Patagonia will go a long way in the maintenance of Vermonts beautiful hiking trails. You can do your part to support the GMC by volunteering your time and services to protect this great land that we all love.
