Introducing OGExplorers!

It’s no secret: we LOVE Vermont. We are fortunate enough to live in a state whose terrain allows for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, and any other adventure you can think of. We love feeling inspired by others to adventure in our beautiful home state, and we hope we can pass along that inspiration to you! To help us achieve this, we’re working with (and growing!) a team of OGE ambassadors, or OGExplorers as we like to call them! These great humans love to play outside, spread their love for the outdoors, and share local adventures with everyone around them:

DANI (@lady_lurking)

My name is Danielle, Dani for short and I am a Vermont native who has developed a deep interest and love for where I live. Living and growing up in this beautiful state, I created a playground for myself in the mountains. I play through bikes, snowboards, and on foot with two, four-pawed, furry pals a few strides behind (or in front–depends if I’m climbing or descending). I found passion through being outdoors doing activities that keep me moving and on my toes, and love to share my stoke and adventures with others!

BONNICA (@lilzucky)

Hey guys, I’m Bonnica! I have a background and degree in nutrition and love to eat healthy and play outdoors. I grew up snowboarding but recently transitioned to ski mountaineering AKA skimo because snowy mountains are my motivation. I hope to inspire others to get outdoors and love sharing my favorite places with my favorite people. I just gave up my slopeside condo last week to build out and live in a van with my boyfriend. We’re hoping for more adventures and a growing active community.

COLBY (@colby_yee)

Hey y’all, my name is Colby! I’m pretty psyched and intrigued by most things outdoors but am happiest when climbing! I found climbing through the climbing team at the University of Vermont, and it quickly became one of the most important things in my life. After graduating, I worked to save up money and build out a van that I’m currently living in full time, to climb and shoot photos as much as possible.

KEVIN (@drskimo)

I’ve spent a lifetime intertwining my passion for outdoor activities and my work. As a massage therapist, then, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I’ve always strived for that perfect work/life balance. My ultimate goal is to help others have a long career of outdoor pursuits. I joke that I’m saving lives everyday but the outdoors (and being physically able to enjoy it) saved my life and I take pride in helping my patients get back to doing what they really need for their body, mind and soul.

ORLA (@orlawalsh16)

I am a born raised St. Albans Vermont chick who often goes by the alias Vermontster and Vermaniac. You can find me most days of the week outside running, frolicking through the wooded scenic trails of Vermont carrying heavy logs or oddly shaped rocks on my shoulder. All activities outside and all yer round make me giddy and grin from ear to ear. You may also find me in a CrossFit gym or a pool all while training as a professional obstacle course racer, winning overall women’s title for Spartan Stadium Races. When I am not enjoying the current season, the adventures and fast pace lifestyle, you can catch me on the University of Vermont Medical Center HealthNet/DHART medevac helicopter crew as a full time critical care transport flight nurse. And if that wasn’t enough for you, I hope you catch your breath. I am also a paramedic ski patroller at Jay Peak Resort. If you can catch me say hi! Otherwise you can see me on a few television shows such as Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge on Season 5 as his All-Star Champion or catch me on CBS Million Dollar Mile as a Defender! Thanks for learning a little bit about my crazy but stellar life!

Give ’em a follow on Instagram, and keep an eye out for photos of their adventures on our feed. We’re stoked to have them join the OGE community! Want to be featured on our Instagram page yourself? Tag us in your posts and use our hashtag, #everyoneswilderness!
