New to the technical all-around category is a strap closure shoe we call the Luchador SC. Inspired by the inner wrestler in all of us who battle the medium of rock; it is built off a slightly cambered last with a semi-asymmetrical toe profile that allows for great control on small edges as well as thin cracks. Its new non-shifting tongue system also offers a sock-like fit.
- Synthetic upper with unlined leather footbed and arch
- Three strap hook-n-loop closure system for convenience and control
- New seamless elastic tongue system reduces bulk and bind while being more breathable
- Tensioned rands for power and performance
- Profile: Slightly cambered semi-asymmetric
- Upper: Synthetic leather (Synthratec) with leather footbed
- Lining: Microfiber
- Midsole: MX-P: 1 mm full-length
- Sole: 4.2 mm TRAX® high friction rubber
- Rand: VTR rand (thicker front toe area)
- Weight: 7.0 oz (1/2 pair size 9 men's)

I just picked up a pair of the Luchador SC and they preformed excellently and better than expected. I have a narrow foot so the heal is a little roomy for me but still a good fit. If your considering a Miura VS or a Scarpa Vapor I would recommend checking out the Luchador SC.

Great All Arounder! The Luchador has quickly become my go to shoe for just about everything. It has enough downturn and stiffness to edge well, yet isn't painfully aggressive on slabs or cracks. Speaking of cracks, it's pretty awesome in anything larger than a finger crack. While it's not a hooked toe super sensitive shoe for the steepest of the steeps or the most comfy for all day alpine adventures, it's a great option for someone who does a bit of everything. Fit wise it's a snugger than most evolv shoes, however those with very narrow heels may want to look elsewhere
Awesome all-around climbing shoe!
The Luchador is an excellent climbing shoe for a variety of types of terrain. The lightly cambered sole transfers power effectively for tiny edges on face climbs and is aggressive enough for tough boulder problems. Additionally, the comfortable toebox facilitates long days at the crag and multipitch routes, and is even at home on lower angle moderates. This is a great all-around shoe that will perform well on all types of climbing routes.
