Description

Fischer offers the best of both worlds with the RCR Skate Ski - super performance at an affordable price. RCR are built with lightweight air core materials and premium base materials, but instead of costly carbon-fiber laminates, Fischer uses new, aerospace-grade Basalite laminates. Basalite also adds significant strength - an important consideration for skiers looking for a more durable race ski. Skiers can expect broad-range glide performance from RCR Plus bases and predictable, stable handling we expect from all Fischer skis.

Does not include bindings. Be sure to order bindings if needed.

Features

  • Lightweight Air Core features volcanic basalt fibers instead of fiberglass to reduce weight and create a consistent flex in all temperatures
  • PowerEdge construction provides lateral reinforcement for edge durability and optimal power transfer
  • Arrow-shaped World Cup sidecut keeps the skis running flat as long as possible for excellent speed and glide
  • Graphite content in the high-end WC Plus bases is fabricated for racing in a variety of conditions; bases feature structure that is ideal for changing snow conditions
  • Bases are prewaxed with fluorinated Swix wax for gliding performance and protection against dirt and oxidation
  • Fully automated Computer Flex Control process examines individual skis and matches them according to camber height, length and pressure
  • Movable bindings (sold separately) click securely into Nordic Integrated System (NIS) plates; quickly adjust binding position to adapt to snow, wax or skier weight
  • NIS uses a factory-bonded plate, eliminating screws that can compromise the strength and integrity of skis
  • NIS bindings fit boots with NNN racing/touring soles; bindings do not accommodate NNN BC soles
  • Please note: all sizes of this ski have a stiff flex; keep this in mind when consulting the size chart
