Don't mess with success. That's been K2's approach to the Men's Mindbender 99Ti, a freeride ski made to tackle trails of all stripes. The rockered nose has a gradual rise for powdery conditions while a short, low-rise tail keeps skiers in control. Changes made by K2 since previous models were done so with even more versatility in mind: A less progressive sidecut, a softer forebody, and a longer rocker. Its Titanal Y-Beam construction is back and ready to buoy hard charges and fine-tuned turn initiations. All the while a 99mm waist keeps skiers floating throughout the day. The result is a pair of planks that'll respond with every turn through thick and thin, off-piste and off.
