Its lightweight 550 fill-down pulls a lot of weight with the benefit of a trapezoidal baffled construction. Helping to fill the gaps is an anti-snag zipper design and hood. The Cosmic's shell consists of 400T Nylon with a PFC-free water-repellent coating.
