We understand kids grow fast, and we’re here to help keep the whole family outfitted for outdoor adventures. With this in mind, we're launching our Kids Grow bicycle trade up program! When you buy a kids' bike through us, you can bring it back within two years and trade it in for up to 50% of the bike’s original purchase price in OGE store credit. We'll credit you on the spot too, so you can keep your kid on a well-fitting bike with no downtime!
Bike Trade-In Values
The amount of store credit you'll receive for your kid's bike depends on its condition. Our bike techs have final say on pricing trade-ins.
Excellent Condition
Bike has minor cosmetic blemishes and is in like-new mechanical condition.
Credit up to 50% of sale price
Very Good Condition
Bike has some cosmetic blemishes and has seen light wear and tear to the components.
Credit up to 40% of sale price
Good Condition
Bike has moderate cosmetic damage and/or has been used a fair amount but won’t need any parts replaced soon.
Credit up to 30% of sale price
Fair Condition
Bike has scratches or other cosmetic damage and/or will likely need some consumable parts replaced fairly soon.
Credit up to 20% of sale price
The Small Print:
- Offer valid for up to two years after the purchase of a new kids' bike from Outdoor Gear Exchange.
- Offer valid for kids' bikes with 26" wheels or smaller only.
- Trade-in credit must be used for the purchase of a larger bike and may not be cashed out.
- Bikes must be safe and functional to qualify for trade-in. Any parts and/or labor needed to make a bike safe and functional will reduce the net amount of trade-in credit.
