For the price this pad is bomber! The three buckle Metolius-style closures feel very secure and when the pad is closed can easily fit shoes, water, food and chalk inside. For the price this pad is bomber! The three buckle Metolius-style closures feel very secure and when the pad is closed can easily fit shoes, water, food and chalk inside. Wish it had a flap to cover one side but it's been good so far. It feels very solid when fallen onto from 20ft, haven't taken anything much over that yet (I'd probably want to double up pads). However it is billed as a highball pad so feel safe when bailing off those long problems. (But still double up for safety!) It doesn't weigh too much and you kick back when you're beat and turn this sweet pad into a couch\lounger type deal. Once mine bites the dust I'm going to buy another.Rating
