Description
As its name implies, Mammut's SoftSkin mat is covered with a fabric that's uniquely soft as far as sleeping pads go, which makes for a comfortable night's sleep when lying directly on the mat in warm weather. It doesn't balk at cold-weather use either, thanks to its 4.0 R-value and 1.4 inch thick wave-foam filling. The regular-sized SoftSkin mats come in "Pond" (a bluish color) while the Long mats come in wine-colored "Merlot."
