With the Airbag System 3.0, Mammut has succeeded in developing a reliable, small, ultra-lightweight avalanche airbag. As the airbag balloon needs to be extremely robust, they have revised it completely using production technologies from the automotive industry. 

The Removable Airbag System 3.0 (with a carbon cartridge) weighs as much as 1 liter of water. It is the lightest airbag system Mammut have ever developed.
