All gear made from sil-nylon, commercial or homemade, comes without the seams sealed. You'll need a tube of 100% silicone seam sealer, as normal seam sealers will not stick to the silicone coating. McNett's Sil-Net fills the bill perfectly, and comes with its own brush to make application easier.
