Availability: Out of stock

Stock #: L513- Closeout

A women's snowshoe that is also perfect for any user with a narrow gait, the Women's Ascent is MSR's lightest version of their most aggressive snowshoe. The low-profile frame saves weight and improves agility with narrow gate while the PosiLock AT, freeze-resistant bindings create a secure, precise fit resulting in an overall extremely stable and agile snowshoe.

The 360° Traction Frames plus Torsion2 crampons give this shoe incredible edge-to-edge grip and continuous contact. Keep your Ascent snowshoe shorter for better maneuverability and lighter weight with the option of modular flotation tails, not included, for an on-demand, extra 5 inches of flotation in deep powder. Televator heel lifts give you easy, comfortable access to the uphills making this shoe the perfect match for any terrain in any condition.

I used them for the first time today and am very impressed with their maneuverability, light weight and easy use. I have never done any snow shoe activities before, but was with others who have and they were impressed with the state of the art design. I could walk on 3" snow and two foot snow, up hills and down hills with no problem. Glad I had poles. Deep snow floats not included.

Well Made durable snowshoe

I really like the design of this snowshoe verses other types made by Tubbs or Atlas. The metal frame really gives you added grip when hiking on icy, steep slopes and the straps are pretty easy to adjust. The climbing bars are an added help when the trail is very steep. My only complaint would be that the heel strap sometimes slips out of the clip and flaps around while you're hiking. It doesn't cause your heel to slip, but it can be annoying if you're hiking a long way. Overall, a great snowshoe and very durable.
