The MSR miniworks ex is great for avid hikers like myself! It is easy to use, simple to take apart and fix, last a long time, and left my water tasting fresh and clean unlike most iodine or treatment drops I've tried. it screws right onto nalgene's and most dromedaries for easy filling and it is very durable. It might seem like a big investment, but the ceramic filter lasts for a really long time and is the only major part that needs replacing once it wears out. In the end I feel like I've saved so much more from using this than other filters.Rating
