Sorry! This item Is out of stock. ( Outdoor Designs - Mckinley Mountain Glove )
The Outdoor Designs McKinley Mountain Gauntlet gloves are technical, modular, waterproof gloves designed for mountaineering.
Wet hands are cold hands, and even a heavily-insulated glove or mitten won't do you much good if it can't keep all that insulation dry. That's why the Outdoor Designs McKinley Mountain Gauntlet gloves feature an eVent waterproof membrane. Hailed as revolutionary when it was first introduced in 2005, eVent was one of the first waterproof membranes that could truly allow the free exchange of air between the two sides of the membrane without requiring the user to build up heat, pressure (and sweat) on the inside first. For more information on how eVent works, check out our Knowledge section at the top of the page.
In addition to the eVent membrane, the McKinley Mountain Gauntlets feature a removable inner glove made of heavyweight Polartec® Power Stretch fabric, which is very comfortable, stretchy, unrestrictive, and has superior moisture-wicking properties. Power Stretch helps your hands feel drier, so they can also feel warmer.
The outer shell of the McKinley Mountain Gauntlet features 100-gram DuPont Thermolite® Active insulation, and a goatskin leather palm.
