These perks, combined with the boots' four buckles and Alpine Axial Tongue construction, give users more volume control. The magic of its versatility stems from the Presa® Outsole, a full-length gripwalk sole running the length of the bottom while directly adhered to the boot. That means users are given better purchase and spared the added weight of hardware. These boots are compatible with both GripWalk-certified alpine downhill and alpine touring bindings. For added comfort, Scarpa gave the 4-Quattro a heat-moldable liner and 61 degrees of cuff rotation when in walk mode. When assembled, these features combine to form a product primed for making short work of challenging routes, wherever they might lead.
