SCARPA’s new Freedom Freeride ski boot matches alpine boot performance with a category-leading cuff range (27 degrees) in touring mode to balance best-in-class features with an exceptional price.
Created with design input from big-mountain ski pioneer Chris Davenport, the Freedom is remarkably light among Freeride boots at 4lbs 7oz per boot (size 27). It employs SCARPA’s patented Carbon Core Technology, which over-molds the lower boot around a carbon fiber-frame, yielding a 110 flex index boot. Interchangeable soles that are bolted through the carbon-fiber frame offer compatibility with any ski binding, from alpine to tech bindings, in a design that improves strength and power transfer to the ski.
The Freedom is the PU version of the Freedom SL, with non-moldable liners and offering a friendlier price. The Freedom is at home in whatever terrain you ski: in-bounds, big mountain or backcountry.
