Poor backcountry boot
The foam the liner is made out of is horrible, is way too stiff . It cut off my circulation so I had to take the liners out, and use another liner from an old ski boot. Now I can wear it without major discomfort. The boot isn't really great for backcountry because it has a poor range of motion, it results in a slow and sluggish tour mode. For resort skiing it would be ok. Also the second buckle strap is a bit difficult to do up - the black cap tends to get in the way. I don't really like much about the boot other than the graphics and the tele flexion in the toe piece. I actually abandoned the boot altogether and just started using my touring boots in my NTN binding, which defeats the purpose because the touring boots don't have a duck butt.Rating
