Great AT Boot for People with Wide Feet
These are excellent alpine touring boots for people with wide feet. After years of massive discomfort with narrower AT boots, I finally spent a few hours with the team at OGE and got outfitted with these "new this year" Scott Cosmos Tour boots. They have some great updates from the previous model, including ISO 9523 soles and a 3-buckle closure system. The boots are easy to get on and off. My previous pair of AT boots were always finicky. The walk mode is easy to get into and out of with mittens, gloves, or barehanded. When going uphill, these boots feel great, and I appreciate the buckle locks. On the downhill, the boots are solid and predictable. Everything about these boots seems well-thought-out and just makes sense to me. I'm so glad the team at OGE got me into these boots. They are comfortable, initiative, and functional. If you have wide feet and want to tour, you should give these boots a try.Rating
