Hot off the Petzl assembly line is the new Petzl LYNX Crampon, a modular crampon for ice and mixed climbing, with new LEVERLOCK universal bindings. From snow couloirs to dry tooling, the LYNX, which replaces the M10, is a versatile crampon. Modular front points allow for many options: dual or mono-point, long or short, and/or asymmetrical. They come with two types of interchangeable front bales to adapt to boots with or without toe welts. In fact, the s the first crampon to market with adjustable newmatic attachments so that you can modify how far the frontpoint stick out beyond your boot with a one screw adjustment. The crampons come with a handy carrying pouch (no more poking holes in your pack) and antisnow plates fore and aft. All in all, the crampons have 14 points, and fit boot sizes 35-45 with the included medium linking bar. A large linking bar is available, letting these crampons fit boots 40-50.
