Two Pack Lines Suited for Different Outdoor Activities:
Capstone Series
-

The Capstone series packs are for day hikes and short overnights. These lightweight, smaller volume packs combine efficiency with a full set of features. Available in capacities from 22 liters to 50 liters, Thule's Capstone series packs are great for whatever kind of day hiking you do. Capstone series packs an easily adjustable suspension, compression straps, an integrated raincover and other essential features for a variety of shorter hikes. From day hikes in the Presidential Range to 14ers in the Rockies, a Thule Capstone pack is an effective and comfortable option for carrying all of the gear that you need.
Guidepost Series-

The Guidepost series packs are the bigger, fully-featured packs in the Thule line and are intended for longer overnights, multiday backpacking and trekking. Thule wanted to build a line of packs that would carry weight more efficiently and comfortably than other packs on the market, so they created a completely customizable suspension and back panel system that is highly adjustable for a perfect fit. The shoulder straps on Guidepost series packs are fully adjustable for different shoulder widths, while the torso can be lengthened or shortened. Other features and storage compartments make the Guidepost series packs excellent choices for long treks, multiday or winter overnights, as well as travel.

Innovative Technology:
Thule packs are immediately distinguishable by their durable and clean designs, however their truly innovative qualities are hidden inside the pack. Thule has integrated an unprecedented level of adjustability into its line of packs to accommodate a variety of body shapes and dimensions. Additionally, all Thule packs are designed with intuitive features to make your hike easier and more enjoyable.
Breathable Back Panel-
All Thule hiking and backpacking packs feature a breathable back panel to keep you comfortable even on hot days. The Capstone series utilize a tensioned mesh back that keeps the pack away from your body and promoted airflow through the created space while moving fast on the trail. The Guidepost series features breathable padding at crucial support points on the back, while maintaining space for airflow and breathability.
Hydration Compatible-
Thule packs are compatible with hydration bladders like those from Camelbak or Platypus. The Capstone series packs have a reservoir sleeve inside of the main compartment and a port for the drinking hose to travel though. Guidepost series packs have an external reservoir sleeve that is easily accessible.
Integrated High-Vis Raincover (Capstone Series Only)-
The Capstone series packs each feature an included high-visibility rain cover that stows in the bottom of the pack. This cover is bright and easy to see, with a reflective logo and high-vis blue color. While the Guidepost series packs don't come with rain covers, Thule makes larger-sized rain covers to fit large volume packs.
MicroAdjust Suspension System (Some Capstone Models Only)-
Thule's larger Capstone series packs (32 liters and up) utilize an easy to use harness that provides 4 inches of adjustability to accommodate multiple torso sizes. For day packs and light overnight packs, this level of adjustability is unique and very convenient. No more hiking with an uncomfortable day pack that doesn't fit your torso!
Removable Lid/24 liter Summit Pack (Guidepost Series Only)-
On long hikes or multi-day trips with side hikes to adjacent mountains, it's a good idea to bring along a small, lightweight pack for the trip to the summit and back. The "brain" lid on the Guidepost series packs is easily detachable and converts into a fully functional, 24 summit liter pack.
QuickFit Shoulder Harness (Guidepost Series Only)-
Thule has introduced an all-new harness system with an unprecedented level of adjustability. The QuickFit shoulder harness system offers 6 inches of vertical adjustability to accommodate most torso lengths, as well as 3 different shoulder strap widths. The shoulder straps can also be adjusted for offset strap heights for people with slightly uneven shoulders.
Transhub Suspension System (Guidepost Series Only)-
Thule's Guidepost series also introduces a new technology in their Transhub suspension system. A single aluminum stay, connected to a spring steel wire frame transmits the weight of the pack directly to the hipbelt more efficiently. The hipbelt can pivot on the aluminum stay, which provides balanced and stable motion.
