Berne Broudy
In climbing or mountaineering, a roped team offers the highest level of safety. The solutions proposed by Petzl at a new self belay page on its website take into account known practices and accident records, with the objective of proposing to the solo climber a system of belaying that takes into account at least effective stopping (belay), easy sliding along the rope while climbing, ease of use and redundancy of the belay.
