Stonelick Crash Pads: Made in Vermont
Mike Donohue
Just off the truck, we have Vermont-made crash pads from Stonelick. None of Stonelicks materials come from overseas. All of its products are made in the good ol’ USA. There are two designers and a couple of sewers that construct each mat. The company is are big enough to produce in a timely manner, yet small enough to listen to our customers and the climbing community. Climbing has always been an integral part of Stonelick founder Arone Silverman’s life. He’ll make any climbing trip possible for a sport and community that has challenged him both mentally and physically. With the perfect opportunity, a grand passion for the sport, and an aching desire to innovate the bouldering scene, Stonelick was established in Spring 2011. "I wanted to find way to give something back to the climbing community, as I have received so much from this sport. Creating this company allows me to integrate technology, quality and passion into each product. My intent is not to offer a product that needs replacement every year but a product you will be excited about and refer to your friends. As outdoor companies have moved production overseas, I’ve watched them cut quality that we all depend on. This is my attempt at redirecting the focus on where it should be, the community ." Stonelick's Boom Crash Pad is great for any problem. Its patent-pending step hinge has you covered better than any pad out there. It has sleek, minimalist design and professional craftsmanship with all the features you need to make it through your most grueling sesh. Stonelick's Yose Crash Pad is fully equipped with infinite options. The Yose has all of the great benefits of the Boom but it’s fully dressed!
