Vermont Ski Resort COVID Rules

Well team, we made it to December. The final month of what has quite possibly been one of the strangest years in recent history. Despite the oddities of 2020, we can’t help but be excited about ski season! To help you make the best plans for your upcoming ski and snowboard adventures, we’ve compiled COVID information from northern Vermont ski resorts and provided links to their 2020/2021 winter operations pages. Now you can reference everything in one place! Please note: you will be required to quarantine if you are traveling from out of state to keep both our communities safe from COVID-19. Learn more about Vermont travel and quarantine protocols here.

Now that you know where you want to go, follow these tips to stay safe on the slopes:

  • WEAR A MASK. Your face will be warmer AND you’ll save lives!
  • KEEP SIX FEET AWAY FROM OTHERS - yes, even in that long lift line.
  • Ride the chairlift with folks only in your immediate household or quarantine pod.
  • Minimize your lodge/indoor time: Don your ski gear in the car instead of the lodge, and if you choose to eat at a ski resort restaurant, be sure to follow their safety protocols.
  • Safety first! Skip the racing down the mountain with your friends this year. If you get injured, you are utilizing hospital time and resources that could otherwise be dedicated to COVID patients in need.

We know this year has increased barriers to sliding down snow with these COVID safety precautions, but if you follow the resorts’ rules you’ll keep the mountain safe for all! And if your skis and snowboards need some love before your ski trip, bring them by the shop for a tune or to mount those new fancy bindings! Or if you need ski/snowboard rentals, we have lots of those too. Give us a call at 888 547 4327 if you have any further questions, or browse our large selection of snowsports equipment.
