Dynafit's new Beast 108 ski is made just for powder specialists. Compared to the prior model from Winter 19-20, its wood core has been weight-optimized again (less 100 grams) and a totally new topsheet was developed. Developers have focused on downhill performance: Full ABS sidewalls and the ash wood core ensures edge grip and stability plus torsional rigidity. Nevertheless, this ski at 1,660 grams (at 181 cm) performs well as a touring ski for medium and long ascents. To achieve this, developers put their focus on weight reduction while not decreasing ski performance -- for example, with the use of premium materials and the reduction of topsheets.

- Double Elipse Rocker: Two elliptical curves work in tandem to get varying edge lengths ideal for each situation
- Single Radius: Harmonious sidecut to guarantee balanced skiing qualities
- Full Side-Wall: Using impact-resistant ABS along the entire length of the ski edge from the steel edge to the top coating guarantees maximum force absorption, for example when skiing over rocks or stones. In addition, direct binding-to-ski power transfer at the edge is optimized thanks to this design.
- Ride Tip: The special carbon core in the shovel ensures an effective reduction of mass and an optimization of vibration and damping properties. The resulting smoothness without chatter – especially in changing snow conditions – delivers perfect precision in turn initiation and dampens impacts like a shock absorber.
